On Thursday November 7th, the 8th grade class went to Holy Nativity School on Oahu to meet with their 5th and 6th class. They saw Mrs Enriquez and JP speak at Schools of the Future and they visited our class website. They thought what we were doing with reformed learning was awesome and wanted to be a part of it. We were invited to come speak to the 5th and 6th grade classes about making their own website and how they can become a part of reformed learning. We made a star compass in the middle of their courtyard and taught them about the Hawaiian names of the directions. They showed us their list of supplies they would bring on a sailing voyage. I got to present my end of the quarter mind map cube I made in 7th grade. When it was time to leave they showed us their church and it was awesome! the stained glass windows were beautiful. On the drive to the airport Mrs Ogata gave us a short tour of the island. At the airport we said our goodbyes and headed back home.
