On Wednesday October 30th the seventh and eighth grade classes went to an installation at the MACC called "Taken By Wonder". This was one of the best learning journeys of the year. It is an installation created by West Bruce. The best thing about this exhibit was what he called The Fort, It was this huge building made of recycled wood and bottles. It was really fun discovering all of the hidden rooms that West Bruce added into the building and then scaring all the people that came by. There were also secrete codes hidden throughout all of the building and were pieces of paper to decode them. After we explored the fort for about 45 minutes we moved to the next and final station where we got materials to build random structures with foam core and coffee stirrers which everybody at your table combined to make a super structure. The people at my table Carter, David, James, Brandon and I ended up making a huge military compound. Then we all went back to school where we discussed our amazing learning journey.
