A few weeks ago Krizhna and I had the idea of planning an extravagant birthday party for our teacher Ms Enriquez. We knew she wanted to go to O'o Farms so we made a plan for November 22. Then Krizhna had the idea of the riddles and gifts for the week leading up to the day of the Farm. The process was stressful but it was totally worth it when we got up to the farm and had a great time. Max's mom bought us glow sticks and necklaces and they were very entertaining because everybody started whipping each other with them. Dinner was amazing like always. We had pizza and s'mores. This time I slept much better because I got to sleep in the bed. It was very cold but surprisingly not as cold as last time. For breakfast we had eggs and bacon which was so delicious. We also had hot chocolate. After breakfast we cleaned up the area and played a game. After we got bored of the game we went to the swing and chatted. When it was time to leave I wasn't sad because I just knew that we would come back again.
Yesterday, we went to a Latin mass which was led by Cannon Moreau who is from France. I was late to school so I missed a little bit of the introduction but I was able to catch up by following along in the booklets that contained half Latin and half the English language. After a while I couldn't follow along in the booklet anymore because he talking too fast. I loved how the mass was done in a traditional way, as if we were participating in the mass 1600 years ago. It felt like I was going to mass with my mom in Europe. It felt like going to mass with Jesus as our leader.
On November 19th, students from St. Anthony's 6th grade class came to our school to learn about our revolutionized education and the WorldWide Voyage. My part in participating was explaining the peace flags. Summer and I drew an example on the board and I explained it with help from Chanel. Then we passed out some blank pieces of fabric and told them to draw what they think represents peace and to write a quote or message to cheer up the crew members when their feeling down. I wasn't surprised when they said they had fun on the tire swing. It's one of our best features on the playground. I can't wait for the Holy Nativity students to come to our school to experience what we do almost everyday.
On November 7th, when the rest of the class went on a learning journey to Oahu., Summer and I stayed back in 3rd grade. I was really disappointed because they told me they had a blast. I wish I had gone with them to experience the fun.Summer and I had a good time and we definitely bonded with each other. But I definitely missed bonding with the others. I hope next time I will be able to go. I love traveling with friends.
