Yesterday we took a trip to a recording studio, Lahaina Sound owned by Lynn Peterson. The experience was fascinating. We recorded the song, "Where in the World are the Whales" a song written by Steve Grimes. "We had actually professionally recorded a song," is still ringing through my head and with my musical experience I was more than ecstatic. The session was filled with takes and retakes. Altogether it felt as if we were celebrities recording a new hit single. After recording the voice parts of the song, I stayed to contribute my flute into the recording. With my love of music I was honored to perform the task. In the end, the studio trip was very beneficial and I would most certainly retain my experience from it.
