Today was our second trip to the Lahaina Yacht Club. All I can say is that today was almost a complete nightmare. The conditions were greatly tougher and wreaked havoc in my subconscious mind. I definitely learned a great deal. First NEVER go straight into the wind ( which I am completely attracted to), stay on the high end of the boat (if not you will tip, which I experienced quite well), and when the sailing boat is unbalanced and is about to tip let so of the main sheet for it will slow the boat and give it less of a force. In the beginning, I thought it could not be any worse. Until I started to understand more about the whole adventure. Once you actually feel and catch the wind on your face and you have the control over the boat, it is like you are just floating above the ocean on an endless path. My goal over the continuous journey through the art of sailing is to be able to be confident and understand what I am doing.
